What is/are covered when I paid for my leisure trip/course?

Course:
Cost covers dive trip, equipment rentals, transportations and food on dive location.

Trip:
Cost covers dive trip, transportations and food on dive location. *Please note that equipment rental charges are not inclusive.

What are the procedures if I would like to cancel my trip/course?

Do I need to buy insurance?

We would recommend that you buy your own insurance to cover yourself for both the trip and diving. Please refer to company policies on Insurance.

Where do I gather for trip departure?

Gathering point is usually at 3 Rambai road between 6 – 7p.m (otherwise stated). Exact details will be given when the trip draws near.

What do I need to bring?

Pulau Dayang and Pulau Tioman:

  1. Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), Employment pass, Work permit holders: Please bring along Green Card
  2. Malaysian currency (RM 75 – RM150)
  3. Log book and Certification card (No diving will be allowed if logbook or c-card is not presented)
  4. Personal dive/snorkeling gear (please ensure that it is in good working condition, rental or own)
  5. Tropical beach wear
  6. Light sheet/blanket/jacket
  7. Toiletries and bath towel
  8. Sun block/ sun tan lotion
  9. Dive torch with fresh alkaline batteries
  10. Sea sickness preventive measures
  11. Camera

How long is the journey from Singapore to dive location?

From Singapore to Mersing jetty: 3-4 hours with rest stops in between
From Mersing Jetty to Pulau Dayang: 3-4 hours
From Mersing Jetty to Pulau Tioman: 2-3 hours

What transports are we taking to the dive location?

Pulau Dayang, Pulau Tioman:
We will take a mini van or coach (depending on size of dive group) to Mersing jetty. From Mersing jetty we will then transfer to boat to relevant dive location.

What is provided on/in the dive location?

Pulau Dayang:

  1. Air-conditioned chalets
  2. Mini provision shop
  3. Bathroom facilities
  4. Food and drinks

Pulau Tioman:

  1. Air-conditioned chalets
  2. Bathhroom facilities
  3. Provision shops on the island
  4. Eateries
  5. Souvenir shops

Is there any restrictions I need to take note of while on trip/course?

  1. Divers on course are not allowed to consume any alcohol at all times.
  2. Divers on leisure trip are adviced to keep alcohol consumtion to maximum 3 cans/glasses.
  3. No jumping from boat decks into the sea at all times.

What is the estimated time of arrival to Singapore?

Time of arrival varies from the time we depart from dive locations. Estimated time will be from 9.30p.m – 10.30p.m. Details will be given on the trip itself.
