The following applies to all Equator Dive Pte. Ltd Education Programs and Recreational Dives:

1. EQUATOR DIVE PTE. LTD. PADI EDUCATION PROGRAM ENROLLMENT POLICIES
• A 1 year period is allocated to complete any selected scuba program, commencement and end dates inclusive. Deferment or extension of the validity period for the program will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Upon the allocation of dates for the program, should a change be requested for, it should be provided and acknowledged by Equator Dive Pte. Ltd, no less than three days before commencement of the program or departure for the dive portion of the program (if inclusive).
• Dive Equator Pte. Ltd reserves the right to accept notice of changes and charge an administrative fee of S$50 per participant for changes made less than 24 hours before program commencement or 24 hours before trip departure (in addition to any other cancellation charges).
For Trip Departures, a no-show by the participant will result in a charge of 100% of the normal published rate for the package/course booked for.
• The use of unlimited academic knowledge development sessions is not restricted to the availability of a classroom or media station and/or the availability of an instructor. We work on a first come first serve basis and classroom allocations will be conducted accordingly.
2. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION CHARGES
• Forms of payment & payment schemes for services rendered and products by Equator Dive Pte. Ltd. may vary with each individual product/service.
• No refund in full or in part will be given for any services/equipment included in the program, which are not utilized. Equator Dive Pte Ltd. does not take responsibilities for factors beyond its control such as medical problems, airline strikes or crashes, bad weather, technical problems of transporting vehicles, or acts of God. Purchasing a relevant and current insurance is recommended.
• Cancellation announcements and refund for Dive Travel Services – Recreational Diving and or Technical Diving trips and or courses are subjected to the following:

3. REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES
• No refunds, exchange or fee adjustment can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, dives, transport, equipment or any other services, which are included as outlined in the all education programs and dive experience tours.
4. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
• All program and tour participants are to ensure that they have a valid VISA (if required) and international passport with a minimum of SIX months validity from the date of departure.
• If during a trip, a diver or participant is denied access to a country, due to a lack of a travel document or invalid passport or VISA, Equator Dive Pte Ltd, will not be held responsible or be liable to provide any discount or refund for this reason.
5. DIVE CERTIFICATION PROOF
• If you are a certified diver participating in recreational dives or diving activities, your dive certification card and dive log book will be requested to verify your experience level.
• If you are a certified diver participating in recreational dives, your dive certification card and dive log book form part of your travel documents. You must have these documents at hand during your dive trip for verification at site, if required by the dive operator.
• The operators reserve the right to reject your dive participation or suggest a refresher course (at the participant’s own expenses) if you are unable to perform your dive skills at level of mastery deemed safe enough to continue. In the event you are disallowed from dive participation, refunds will not be granted.
6. RENTAL AGREEMENT
• Rental of dive equipment is provided as an extra service only. Equator Dive Pte Ltd. is not responsible for any equipment malfunctions whilst on tour, injuries to hirer or damage to equipment. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to acknowledge that the equipment is in good order prior to accepting the rental.

• The hirer will also assume the responsibility to reimburse Equator Dive Pte Ltd. for any the equipment loss or damaged whilst under the care of the hirer. Please refer to the table below to view the lost or damaged charges:

7. INSURANCE
• Travel, Diving and General Insurance is more than highly recommended in the event of trip cancellations, hospitalizations, medical emergencies, and or baggage loss, which includes Dive Gear/s etc. Contact our staff for more information and advice.
• Alternatively it is highly recomended that you check out Divers Alert Network (DAN) at the following website to sign up and have your dive and travel insurance organised. http://www.danseap.org/
8. DISCHARGE OF LIABILITIES
• All divers will be required to sign a liability waiver & Assumption of Risk form(s) during enrolment of a scuba program or prior to departure on Dive Travel for recreational divers and abide by all diving rules of the operators.
9. MEMBERSHIP
Membership fees shall be paid in advance and are non-refundable. The membership card will be processed and mailed out within 14 days upon application. Photograph reflective of all registered members are required for membership application and must be submitted within 14 days of application. The membership card is the property of Equator Dive (Singapore) and is non-transferrable. Membership privileges are only extended to persons whose names and photographs are shown on the card. Family membership is limited to 2 adults and 1 child (between the ages of 8 and 15 years). Official identification may be requested for verification of all memberships. All memberships will be valid for 12/24 months from the date of signup, expiration at the end of the month. Courses and membership privileges not redeemed within the membership period are non-refundable. Replacement fee for the loss of membership card is S$15 per card.
The membership or discount privileges, terms and conditions may be supplemented, amended or terminated without prior notice at the sole discretion of Equator Dive (Singapore). Information collected through this membership application may be used for Equator Dive’s promotional purposes. Members may receive via e-mail or SMS, promotional news, service updates or other information about Equator Dive. Members may at any time unsubscribe to these mailings. Equator Dive reserves the right to reject any application or renewal and to suspend or terminate a membership without liability or refund if any of the conditions of the membership are not complied with or abuse of the privileges. All courses/trips are applicable for Tioman/Dayang only unless otherwise specified. Service Maintenance charge is applicable to labour charges only, spare parts/consumables not included. Non-diver status encompasses non-diving activities and snorkeling. Up to 2 leisure trips are transferrable for 2yr Silver Members only. Course materials are included for each course signup.
